During 8-11 February 2010, COERR office in Surin Province conducted the trainings on mine – risk education to 574 students in 6 schools along the Thai – Cambodian border such as Satri Witaya Samakom school, Kalaengwek Taptim Siam school, Ban Khana school, Ban Kaset Isan Samakkhee school,
Ban Bak Jarang school and Ban Pon Tong school.  The training is aimed at equipping the students with knowledge of mine and its danger as well as precautions against landmine. After the training, the students are able to transfer the knowledge gained to their parents too.
